This morning felt GOOD. Despite one of the worst nights of sleep ever (I ate too close to bedtime and something fell down in Jason's bathroom and seriously spooked me. We're talking I made the man get up and check the house. Isn't that one of the perks now that I'm married? I no longer have to face the bogeyman!), I managed to pull myself out of bed. It's unseasonably humid here so it felt just like a NC morning. The one minute runs felt really strong, like I could go longer. I wanted to go longer but I know that I need to ease into this or I'll burn out too soon. Because of last week's slackness, I'm technically a week behind in training which means this Saturday is when I'll do a one mile time trial. At 7 a.m. On Saturday. Before work. Yup, I'm a runner again....YAY!!!!
I did a little internet work and found a few more great links. One is where you can search for favorite runs in your area that other runners have already mapped out. And the other one is a site where you can map your runs. No more driving around in my car watching the pedometer to see how far I ran! And Abilene has a running club. I'm so in.
