Well, the good news is that I'm eating right, sleeping well and sticking to my work-outs. The bad news is that the 20 min run this morning nearly KICKED MY TAIL! I was good 'til about 12 minutes and then I really wanted to walk. But I keep seeing Allie in my head encouraging me, all of you cheering me on. I also saw her emphatic email about how no matter what I have to keep running, that finishing a run is way more helpful for the next workout than stopping to walk. So I kept running, people. I ran until I got to the next side street. And then I set my sights on the next one. And the next one. And then it was three minutes left and I thought, well if I've made it to 17 min I sure as heck can finish the last three. And I did! Allie, we may have to talk about the rest of my work-outs this week. I don't know that I can go up to 35 min run by the end of the week. Let's chat...
(P.S. I cheated and peeked at the scale this morning. I'm in the 150's for the first time since February! I never thought I'd be so glad to see them.)
