Well, I wanted more running and I certainly got it today. And in the rain no less. Yes, that's right folks. I am so dedicated that I got up and ran in the rain. (Actually, it was more like I thought it had stopped raining but when I got outside it hadn't so I just ran anyway.) Yes indeed, I am a dedicated runner! The 6 minute runs were managable. Allie's got the workouts ramping up to a 30 min run by Saturday. Yeeeaaahhh, we'll see if that actually happens. In the meantime, I've definitely turned the food corner and managed to successfully make it through the weekend on program. That's the hardest part for me, weekends. During the week, I'm on a schedule and at work I can only eat at certain times (if I'm lucky! Sometime lunch doesn't happen until 3). My new favorite food that I have WW swapped? The maple brown sugar instant oatmeal. Love it. Have loved it since I can first remember eating at Aunt Melba's house as a kid. The WW swap means I use plain instant oatmeal, a pack of splenda, a dash of cinnamon (maybe two), some raisins, and voila! I have my favorite breakfast. Filling too.

Off to work with the satisfaction of knowing my workout is done for the day...

Look at you--it's 8:43 and you've worked out and posted to your blog! I read your blog and I hear Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" and if you were in CH, I run around the house and sing it to you (just the chorus, because the rest of the song doesn't have much to do with getting your run on).
