ready to run now! (a la phillip david at age 3)

(Ask me later if you want to know about the above reference)

Warm-up, stretch
2 min walk
30 sec quick run
4 min walk
2 min jog
4 min walk
30 sec quick run
2 min walk
(Repeat/Work back up sequence)
Cool down, stretch

Yeah baby, feeling good! I'm starting to notice a difference in the general way that I feel as I'm walking and running. Not so much of an "Oh dear lord, this hurts" as "Ok, I remember doing this. This feels right." I loved the quick runs this morning, it felt so good to stretch my legs and really sprint down the road. The two min jogs were consistent and steady. I'm definitely sensing the urge within me to run more than walk. All in good time...

The eating part of this is going...hmm, how shall I put this? Really freaking awful. I just can't seem to get myself on a good plan of good foods. I want to eat the right things. I even buy them at the grocery store. Then I proceed to Wendy's and order my favorite #1 combo or throw one more box of Mac & Cheese in the cart. I might have turned the corner this morning, we'll see. I think I'm getting to the point where the workouts feel good and I don't want to negate the hard work I'm doing there by putting crappy food in my body. Eat to run, not run to eat. That's the new mantra.

Weigh-in tomorrow at WW. I was up .8 lb last week, which I thought was pretty merciful for basically a week of stuffing my face. I'm hoping to have lost that again and a little more. We shall see...
