a little behind

Ok folks, haven't blogged my workouts since last week but you better believe they've been done! So, I'll do a quick rundown just to get y'all caught up.

Saturday, July 7
Warm-up, stretch
35 minute run
Cool down, stretch

Monday, July 9
Warm-up, stretch
20 min easy run
Cool down, stretch

Today, July 10
Warm-up, stretch
24 min tempo run (each 6 min faster than the last)
4 min jog
Cool-down
Abs regiment
Push-ups: 3 sets of 10
Stretch

And somwhere along the way, I became a runner again! I mean, I am really running, feeling my stride, thinking about other things, enjoying the distance. YAHOO!

I'm also proud of the fact that I (pretty much) stayed on program during our Seattle vacay and attended a meeting last Friday. Drumroll please, ala "National Lampoon Christmas Vacation"...

Weight Watchers Weigh-In: 158.6
Weight lost this week: 1.6 lb
Total weight lost: 7.2 lb

And running hero of the week award goes to Serena. Her words say it better than I ever could and as verbose as I am, I'm not sure I could really express how I proud I am of her. Her husband does a great job here and Serena tells the whole story here.

congrats! i see another gold star in your future. ran in the rain last night and went a new distance (at least for me, it was a milestone). i'll call ya tonight to catch up.

You go girl! Can't wait to hear about the new milestone. Isn't running in summer rain just lovely? I don't think we're gonna see rain here for a while...sigh.
